Hello All,
Are there any past, present or current students from either Drexel or Walden Universities that can and are willing to provide insight about their program from the students prospective?
Was finding clinical/preceptor placement difficult?
How is the material presented (group projects, discussion boards, online lectures, scheduled log in times, proctored testing or usage of webcam on your home computers, I'm pretty sure that numerous papers were involved)?
Were you able to take more than one course successfully at a time?
How would you rate the quality of the education?
Any info that you provide is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

The first 5 classes are pretty much nonsense classes. Evidence Based Practice was the most challenging one for me. Health Assessment, and Pathophysiology are refresher courses along with Pharmacology with the exception of knowing what drug to prescribe first. I worked full-time and took 2 classes until I got to Health Assessment which I took alone. You won't start having weekly tests until you start Pathophysiology. The number of test starts to decrease when you start clinical. Walden has a spreadsheet with a list of clinical site, start looking now because some sites are filled up for 2018. Some group projects, weekly discussion posting with 2 postings in a week, projects, no online lectures, scheduled clinical log due in 48 hour, non proctored test. Four to Five papers per class. It's hard to rate the education since the medical classes are refresher courses. You have 3 videos to do for health assessment. The school works for me. Good luck in your decision.
