Hi everyone, I've just been accepted to an ADN Program, and I have the option of taking Dosage Calculations through an Online Course for school rather than traditional classroom. Would anyone recommend it?

Depends on what your abilitiy is in learning math, also it depends on your ability to learn outside the classroom.

If you can do this without instruction, then go for it, you can put the added time into somthing else.

if u can get the basic principle of desired over have times quantity (D/H * Q) and the conversions memorized...u will be fine. Its really not that difficult and Im BAD at math! Matter of fact check out the student nurse forum there are threads on it (maybe even a sticky I think) and see if u understand it. Ill link you to the thread if I find it. Once u get the hang of it its reall not bad.
