DOes undergraduate prestige matter for CRNA?

Is undergraduate prestige a factor in CRNA admissions?

Or is it solely just grades, GRE, interview, and experience?

ready4crna?

Specializes in ICU, currently in Anesthesia School. Has 5 years experience.

I don't think it matters much, unless you got your BS/BSN from "joe's house o' degrees 'n beef".

Too funny!!!! I needed a laugh. . .:lol2:

I agree I don't think it matters because I got in and the schools I went to weren't "prestigious". My GPA and GRE were to the right of the bell curve and I got recommendations from 2 anesthesiologists and an OR director. My interview also went well. The only thing that hurt me was my experience or lack thereof.
