Does the shot mess with your DNA?

Nurses COVID

Updated:   Published

The way that this Covid vaccine works is quite different from the flu shot. The Covid vax. is not a (dead) bacteria or virus being injected into your body. (With Pfizer & Moderna) RNA (called messenger RNA) that's been coded in a lab goes into your arm. The RNA has instructions, or a code, that gets deposited on the cell. The ribosomes of the cell make a spike protein. It looks similar to the spike protein on the surface of the actual Corona virus. Then your body is supposed to make antibodies (antigens) that goes after the spike protein and neutralize it.

The problem is that this has not been tested in any long-term studies, so, this is more of an experiment. We don't know whether or not the DNA gets permanently changed (possibly bad). We're talking about something that's not supposed to be in your body (made in a lab) that can bind to the surface of your cells and possibly may not be able to be reversed.

Also, since the drug is still being evaluated for long term adverse effects, pregnancy, etc., the FDA would not license the drug, but instead, put out as EUA... Emergency Use Authorization.

My family members got both Pfizer vaccines, and several weeks later they winded up in the hospital with covid and are on a respirator as we speak.  Is it 100% effective? I think not.  And let me be clear, my family members did not get covid from the vaccine, they got covid because their masks were relaxed due to be “fully vaccinated”.

I am sorry that your family members are so seriously ill. As pointed out, the effectiveness is not 100%, and we know that the elderly and immune-suppressed do not mount as effective of a response. In my area, a nursing home had a significant outbreak in both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents and staff. Our state health department takes these breakthrough infections very seriously.

I still do not believe that this is an indication to avoid vaccination, but actually a good reason for those with strong immune systems to develop antibodies. And of course, a healthy weight, normal blood sugar and adequate Vitamin D are important as well.

I wish you and your family well.

Has nothing to do with Trump. Broadcast stations, especially news types, have been shills for corporate interests for several decades.

You do know I am from the UK? We have different broadcasting standards and rules.

If you really are educated in the medical field you would know that vaccines take YEARS, NOT MONTHS to be able to be safe for people to take.

"Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) emerged in China in 2002 and spread to other countries before brought under control. Because of a concern for reemergence or a deliberate release of the SARS coronavirus, vaccine development was initiated."

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I do value your opinion, however I feel a different way, which is fine.  I was trying to advocate for others who feel differently or perhaps feel the same way I do.  I do however, take vitamin d3, vitamin c, selenium, zinc, calcium, vitamin e, and I have not gotten the virus.  Thanks again for your well wishes for my family. ?

Isn't it odd that the federal government has granted legal immunity from liability to Pfizer & Moderna if something goes wrong with this particular vaccine?

If you look up the federal vaccine liability program you will discover that this is neither new nor exceptional. Many years ago Congress passed a law shielding vaccine manufacturers from liability from alleged harmful effects of vaccines. There is a fund that covers bona fide damages.  Nothing nefarious going on here.

It's really hard to believe that any nurse would ask this question. Why don't you ask Olivia Guidry, RN, BSN, Lafayette, LA, the antivax big mouth who jeopardized the safety of her patients. She went around spouting about it changing your DNA and said: I think her exact words were, "It messes with your DNA (scientific jargon). DO NOT GET IT!." She was 23. She's dead now... From COVID.

Well, I am 78 years old and have numerous serious health ailments ex. MI, Stroke, Diabetes, Obesity, and am very allergic to numerous meds. However, I had both covid injections and the booster shot, and I was NOT affected in any way by the covid vaccine. Not even any side effects.

I double checked to see if this was really true and it IS.  Wow.  So young but not quite fit enough to live.  Culling is a cruel process.

Yay, Fran. Good to see you got your vaccine and boost!
