so I'm trying to decide where to apply for grad school (thinking FNP) and I was wondering in terms of job placement and passing of boards, does it really matter where you go to school? brick + mortar vs. online, small schools vs. big name, $ vs. $$$$?

I went to a plain old state school and I'm pretty sure no one even looked at my resume....just wanted my boards complete, my licensure and prescriptive authority in place and that was it!

No one cares. It only matters to you because of how good of an education you get. If a certain school doesn't teach a needed skill then you won't be very marketable.

I think going to a big name school opened some doors for me, but I would rather have saved the $$$ and gone to a state school if that had been an option. Overall, it probably doesn't matter that much.
