Does anyone know when FCCA will go from paper to computerized?

Has anyone heard when FCCA will go electronic? It would be so helpful for those of us who are on the pay-as-you-go program ;) I am trying to get an idea of how many days off I will need for testing in the upcoming future, and I need to travel 180 miles everytime I test.

My advisor has stopped even mentioning it going computerized. I would call or message your advisor and see if they can give you any input. I haven't heard about it being computerized for a while.

You might also check the test site info again. It's my understanding that Excelsior has approved about 800 new sites (Pearson Vue Professional Centers)for testing. When I looked, it turns out I can now test about 30 minutes from home instead of 3 hours.

I last heard from my adviser a couple days ago that June 2011 is when they are going like with the FCCA on the computer for testing.

What is the FCCA exactly?

Thanks!

i am with chinamom, do you have to take all three tests at once or do you do them one at a time, is there any demonstrate your skills kind of things or just input answers. I am confused about that too.

Why will no one answer any fcnn questions...hmmmmm

From what I understand (and I didn't take the FCCA, but have heard from others who have), the paperwork students receive explicitly states that the academic honestly policy prohibits discussion of the exam. So students are just abiding by policies, that's all.

The EC School of Nursing catalog has a bit of info on the FCCA on page 14. That's about all you're likely to know of it before you get to that point. :)
