I'm interested in feedback from anyone who is currently or has attended Chamberlain's online MSN program. What are your experiences?

I just found out I've been accepted in Chamberlain's online MSN program so I can't give you any feedback on the courses or instructors yet. I can tell you that the admissions and finance peeps have been awesome in helping me through the entry process. It went very smoothly. I have also done an intro for the online delivery system & it's so easy, very user friendly. No closing windows or logging out...everything you need is right there in all the tabs. I can also tell you that the curriculum is very much geared toward the working nurse with a family. There is a limit to the amount of credit hrs one can take per semester...the basic idea is to learn without being so stressed over it. I think it's gonna be an awesome experience...I'm excited & really looking forward to starting classes in July. :)

Thanks for the reply. I'm starting in July as well. Policy and Politics is my first class. Will we be in the same group?

You're welcome. My first course is Health Care Policy...I don't see a Policy & Politics on my curriculum, but I'm assuming it's the same. Maybe I'll "see" you! All my best to you!

I have Health Care Policy as well. I was reading over the text which is Policy and Politics...so we will be in the same course. My best to you as well. I'm looking forward to it!

could you elaborate a little more on Chambelin. What type of computer is required for the classes, is the cost reasonable, is there tech support available, will they take my UOP credits

klocl, I'm looking forward to it! :)

suni, I'm not very computer savvy & can't really answer your questions on that. All I know on that is I have a HP Pavilion dv7-3160us laptop & it supports the program. I'm running windows 7 with all the necessary plugins to support an online learning program & Chamberlain does have a tech support. Compared to others, the cost is reasonable for a graduate program. As to whether or not your UOP credits will be accepted, you'd probably have to call the college & talk to someone. They're really nice & I'm sure they can help get you all the answers you need. All my best to you.

How has your experiences been so far at Chamberlain's MSN program. Do you think it's possible to take 2 grad glasses at the same time, or is the schoolwork to intense?

So far, I've completed 1/3 of the MSN program. I love it. It is very intense, and yes it would be possible to take 2 courses at one time if you have excellent time management skills and are maybe not working full time. These courses are considered full time as stand alone classes, 8 weeks is equivalent to 16 weeks in a traditional program. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply......I really appreciate it!! I spoke to a couple of counselors, and they were very vague in their responses. I only work 2 days a week, so hopefully that will allow me to complete 2 courses concurrently and speed up the process of completion. At the end of the day, 2 years sounds like such a looong time...lol!!. Congrats on your successful completion of your courses so far, and again, I appreciate the feedback!!!
