So, I began watching the Little Couple on TLC and gained some amazing encouragment. I have posted in the past about the lumbar spinal stenosis I was diagnosed with back in March and whether or not I should continue on with my plans for nursing school.. After watching this amazing couple I have renewed faith in myself. I mean really, if Jen is able to be a Neonatologist after having 27 surgeries, bilateral hip replacements, and a metal bar in her back due to scoliosis then I should be able to handle a couple of bulging discs. Maybe I am just crazy, but I am going for it..

Hi Butterfly0328!
I don't think you're crazy at all. If nursing is what you are passionate about, then nothing should stop you from attaining it. I love the Little Couple. I can't wait for the next new episode. Good luck with Nursing School and keep us posted.

I love Jen, she's amazing!
I totally agree with you all, especially you Leslie....I think she is amazing and so many can learn a lot from her. I have realized that attitude and determination is key to success. I have began to change the way I "think" about many things in life, especially the adversities I face. I will be starting PT in about 2 weeks, as well as losing about 50 lbs ( wish me luck there:idea:). I absolutely refuse to give up this dream..It's something I have been very passionate about for 20+ years. Even though I have read many "scary" posts on here, I have not changed my mind. I have tons of support and even though I am nervous, I am very excited as well. I will keep you all posted and thanks so much for the support.. God Bless:redpinkhe
