Depends on the office policy.

Medical clinics (of all specialties) may be staffed by RN's, LVN's/LPN's, medical assistants, or others. There's no dermatology forum here, but there is a forum for outpatient/office nurses.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but I don't wear my glasses while on the computer, and I read your user name a little differently than it actually is...wondered what type of nurse we're producing these days... :smackingf
Around here there are a lot of nurses working in dermatology-type or plastics settings for the spa treatments, like Botox.

Yes, RN's work in dermatology office and medical spas. All clinics need to have either an LPN or RN on staff.
CatLady....I am not quite understanding the basis of your reply? Are you saying that a nurse at a dermatologist office is a LESSER nurse for doing so???
Please help me understand, to be honest, i find it pretty intriguing myself.
Thanks;)

No, no, not at all. What I was saying is that at first glance I read caligirl as callgirl....I can be a real doofus. :selfbonk:

Thanks for the clarification. No callgirl here, just a momma of 2 little boys!
I'm gonna bring you a big pot of coffee before you start posting. We need to make sure you are fully ALERT! LOL!:roll
