Do you have to PAY to reschedule the NCLEX exam?

I plan to take my NCLEX on February 25. I thought it was going to be enough time for studying. I found out my husband is leaving for Korea around the same time I take my NCLEX. I hate to be distracted and unfocus, but I am worried if I will have enough time too. I just finish Kaplan, and I am also using Saunders. I am doing about 60% according to Qbank and Question Trainer. i want to be doing better. I am doing about 50-100 questions a day + reviewing my rationales.

Should I still keep the date?

Or should I wait that week to see if it necessary to reschedule?

I was able to reschedule (in CA) without paying an additional fee, however you are only able to reschedule once so chose your day wisely. I wish you and your family the best while your husband is away.

If you cancel and reschedule 24hrs in advanced you don't have to pay. Do it when you feel comfortable, is your mind going to be all with it with your husband leaving around that time?

no, you need 24 hrs in advanced to cancel or reschedule your examination...

You do not have to pay if all you are doing is rescheduling a test you have not yet taken. If you are registering to take the exam again after having failed, then you must pay. Each time a person applies to take the exam, they have to pay the fees as stated by the board. Good luck on your exam.
