If MO order Dexomethason (anti inflammatory) to pt and then we have to check pt BSL?
If so, when do I have to check? Like 3-4days after? please let me know...

you should have orders if you are supposed to check BSL (sugars, i am assuming? I am bad with acronyms sometimes!). I would call your MD to clarify.

Questions in order of importance for critical thinking: Is the patient a diabetic? Does the patient have a history of steroid-induced diabetes? What level of care are you in? What dosage and route is the medication given?
Many nondiabetic patients receive steroids by various routes without blood sugar monitoring. In order to answer your question, you need to answer the questions above.

I see dexamethasone used in community palliative care alot and a BSL test has never been used.
