Help!!!! So I have been in dmu since feb2016 and was supposed to be done in October 2019. I never was on VRP as I had charges diversion from work I did drug court charges expunged now. In October 2018 I had a pair I’ve drug screen it just recently went to legal and my liscence was suspended they say for 3 years the put the “on probation” status to suspended. I had to tell my job who then fired me bc they pulled up my contract online and looked at the violation the BON is stating with positive urine (s). At first I was out on unpaid admin leave and told to just get it straightened out and then when liscence back I could come back but now the next day they fired me.!i have a lawyer who says he will get my liscence reinstated soon like 2-3 months and I will have to agree to an extension but then I will be able to work. We have already filed a petition to them just waiting on court date or a lee court date deal . I am nervous though has this happened to anyone else? Can I get unemployment benefits as I never did anything wrong at my job my liscence juat got suspended so couldn’t work in that position anymore and is my lawyer telling the truth liscence reinstated to on probation within 2-3 months? And how long is the extension?

I'm having a little trouble understanding what you are saying happened.
So, you were in DMU? What is DMU? The only thing I could find that said DMU, was Decision Making Unit. That was supposed to last 3 years. Then, you had a drug screen? What were the results of the drug screen?
I have seen an instance where a participant had a positive drug screen early on, in IPN. They began her monitoring contract again and she completed. She had to go back to IOP though.
It's always good to have an attorney. But it would help to know what you mean by the drug screens. If you have agreed to participate in a program and one of their requirements are negative drug screens, and you have a positive, you will probably get an extension. And it's anybody's guess as to how long it will be.
Good luck!

Your story is very difficult to read and understand- mainly because of spelling and punctuation issues. Maybe re-write and repost so we can help support you.

I still don’t really understand, but I think the OP is in Pennsylvania. DMU is the Disciplinary Monitoring Unit. VRP is the Voluntary Recovery Unit.
So, it appears that OP was placed in the DMU in February 2016 due to drug diversion. In October 2018, OP had a positive urine screen (maybe more). As a result, OP’s license was suspended for three years. Then, OP was fired from her job . OP’s lawyer is saying that OP will get her license reinstated in 2-3 months and that instead of completing the DMU program is October 2019, it will be extended.
OP is asking if her lawyer is correct about getting license back in 2-3 months and if anyone knows how long the DMU program will be extended. Also, OP wants to know if she can apply for unemployment compensation as she was fired from her job.
How’d I do OP? I don’t have any answers for you, unfortunately, but please let us know if this is what you are asking. Your original post was unclear. Thanks!
? you did great thanks so much that is exactly what I was asking
