Direct entry vs. BS-BSN

Hi all,

I need some guidance with deciding whether to pursue a Direct Entry Masters degree into nursing or if I should go for my 2nd bachelors and get a BSN? The direct entry programs are relatively new and I am skeptical if obtaining my masters in nursing is that much better than just getting a 2nd bachelors. Tuition rates are very high for master programs and it appears that many jobs require nurses to have a BSN. If any of you have gone through the process and are knowledge about either programs I appreciate the help!

Also, thoughts on getting CNA certificate prior to BSN or Direct-entry?
