Has anyone attended the Diman LPN program? I'm applying for the fall 2011 full-time day program. I was just wondering what to expect and if it is a good program. Also, how difficult is it to get in?
In the mean time I'll be taking CNA courses at BCC. Does anyone have any experience there?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I was accepted there for this current year but I went with BP in Taunton instead, it was cheaper and closer to home for me. I think they are probably pretty similar. It will be alot of work, I'm in the full time days program and it's insane and I have no life but it's only until June, I can't wait!! It's smart to get your CNA because that will help you so much in clinicals in the beginning. I had to learn all of that and was out of my comfort zone because I had never done it.
Good luck!
Thanks Sheryl, and good luck with getting your license!
Do you know how difficult it is to get into Diman's program? I'm sure that depends on things such as test scores, etc., but do know anything about the % of applicants accepted? I know this is going to be a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it.

Hi there :)
:)
I'm going to apply for the fall 2011 start at Diman. I have also applied for BCC nursing program. I'm praying to get into one of them! I'm a little annoyed because I have to retake the TEAS. I scored an 83 on it, but because it was on version IV and not V, I have to retake it to apply for Diman
Anyway, maybe I'll be seeing you in August! I know two girls that have been through it. Both have said it's intense, but worth it!
I'm also applying to BP Tech, so we'll see. I'm sorry you have to test again when you did well. I'm pretty confident about the TEAS and really really hope to get in somewhere!!
Thanks for replying, I'm from the west coast and don't know many people around here.

Hi! I also applied to Diman LPN for fall start 2011. Does anyone know when we will be notified if we were accepted?

I am a graduate of the Diman School of Practical Nursing and being in healthcare for over 30 years I would have to say that the L.P.N.'s that graduate from that program are second to none. The instructors are nothing but professional. It is not an easy program, pretty intense and you work hard, but the end results are well worth it. There are other LPN programs nearby and yes they are cheaper, but the bottom line is you get what you pay for. You are making a great decision by attending Diman.
blissful- I think somewhere on the website it says April/May but I'm not sure and can't find where I saw that.
