Long time lurker, first time poster here. So I'm in my final semester of prereqs and I'm trying to get all my ducks in order for the application process. Some of the schools I'm applying to want TEAS scores at application time and others will invite you to take it. I figure I should take it on my own. What did you do?
And any help to find testing locations? I can't seem to figure out where to go.

What I did: I was taking a couple of semesters and was confused of what exactly I need to do because my classmates said different things, so I went to a guidance counselor, he told me everything I needed to know. When it was time to begin the process, I took an application from admissions when they announcing, and I sent it in so they can schedule me time and date. My college was a teas testing center, I don't know how to find a different testing center, I transffered to this college beforehand because I was afraid of credit-transfer problems. but maybe a counselor from the health/science department can refer to one or looking up online

Take the TEAS as soon as you can... take it early, and study practice exams... There's no need to wait for an invite, because you will have to take it anyway. The one thing that you should be aware of is that some schools limit the number of times you can take the test, while others allow unlimited attempts. Be certain to read the details of each program requirements so that you don't take the test too many times for your school of choice.
Hope that helps!
