Did you prefer daytime or evening clinicals?

If you had your choice of going to nursing school during the day or evening, which did you choose? Are there advantages to doing clinicals during the day, since I'm sure daytime is busier? Did you feel you learned more in the daytime vs. night?

I've only ever had day time. I like having them in the day, b/c I don't want to do anything in the evening except study or go out to eat.

I prefer in the morning. I have clinicals from 7-12 every Wednesday. I want to get it over with.

I have my clinicals in the evening, cause frankly, I'm not a morning person.

I don't know if I'll have a choice, but I've always prefered working and going to school in the evenings/nights. Also I get free childcare from my husband during that time slot :)

All of our rotations except one are in the morning...early morning. And, to add to that, most of our classes start, at the latest, at 8:00 am. (Meaning, other classes might start later, but they are on the same day, so you still have to get up early.) All theory classes, except 1 rotation, are at 6:30am, 6:15am and 6:30am clinicals. Yawn. I am just starting the only evening rotation in our program (until, possibly, preceptorship). We are all excited. I don't think anyone in our program likes the early mornings. Tests at 6:30am are a particular joy (yeah, right).
