I worked so hard studying, spent more time than I've ever spent studying, taught other people, took pretests, etc.
However, I got an 80%. All the other people that I was teaching got above me, at least by 5%. Yet, I get the lowest grade. I don't understand. As I'm sure you all know, I'm fighting for this A grade, and now I'm afraid I won't get it. I was so confident.
Just venting, sorry.

Don't get discouraged! When I took chemistry last semester I failed my 1st exam. I felt just like you did. For the second test I switched up my study habits because obviously the method I used before wasn't working. Made a 98 on the second exam and finished with an A. One grade doesn't determine the end result. You made an 80 that's not bad at all because chem is tough! You can still get an A. Switch up your study habits if you need to or just study more all together. Good luck!

An 80 is so awesome for your first chemical exam! Everyone bombed our first exam I mean bad!!! I was so worried but ended up working my booty off and that meant reading the entires chapters and doing problems online. It really helps also I watched many YouTube videos LOL I only had my leacture once a week for three hours it was rough. I ended up getting an A. You can do it stay positive! Everything will work out I swear :)

I say this constantly on here, get Cliff Notes Chem Study Solver! It's a chem lifesaver. In my chem class most of the class bombed every test, so much so that the final cumulative test had to be CHANGED. My chem teacher gave us ten fundamental questions to answer instead of the full final. If you got 100% you could at least get a C if you were not failing, he bumped you a letter grade for comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. He figured we ALL had test anxiety, that's why he did it. :)
Thanks everyone! I know I'm doing OK. I have an A in lab, high A, and an A on the web assignments(homework). So I'm hoping that maybe if I study more alone and sooner - ill end up better!

I discovered quizlet recently and have been reviewing stuff from A & P 1 & 2. Maybe that would help? I'm sure there must be some chemistry stuff on quizlet.
