Sometimes it does feel like healthcare is going "Kmart way" and I'd rather be in my happy place too during a procedure.

I've always had visions of health care ending up like a trip to McDonalds, with the way they find every corner they can possibly cut to fatten their profits.
You just drive up to the speaker order a #5 (one delivery, do you want an epidural with that? Do you want it supersized?), go to window #2, deliver the baby (probably by propping yourself on a sliding table with the upper half of your body in the car and the lower half inside the building through a hole in the wall), and then go to # 3 to receive your baby and get your bill.

Sometimes patients really expect this approach. Why can't you find out why I have a headache in less than 5 minutes?
