I'm getting ready to take my NCLEX exam in a few weeks. I have been using the individualized study plan created at the ATI Live Review at my school. I have also used a few other study materials, but I have primarily focused on my ATI study plan. Those of you who have utilized the ATI study plan and have taken NCLEX.....was ATI helpful or not? Were you prepared for the exam? Did you pass on the first attempt? Thanks for any responses and any suggestions.

I haven't taken my NCLEX yet, but my school used ATI through out the course work. I personally believe that it is best to use different resource to challenge yourself. ATI always have practice test before you take any type of exam, so it almost prepares you for the exam. I just started preparing myself for the NCLEX,planning to take mine in 1st week of Feb.

Hey there,
ATI is by far the best review system out there. I, like an idiot, decided to not use the ATI tutor after I graduated and try doing a quick review before my test. It resulted in failure nonetheless. So, second time around, I worked with my tutor and passed with 83 questions. If you do ATI, make sure you listen to your tutor whether you think you should be ready in 3 weeks and they say 6, just follow what they say and actually STUDY. They will not send you in there without atleast a 90% chance of passing the NCLEX.
Hope that helps,
Chase
Just as an update....I took NCLEX on December 12 after studying ATI. I passed with 84 questions in 30 minutes. 75 of my questions were SATA.

It would be highly irregular to have 75 SATA questions out of 84! It might have felt like a ton of SATA and perhaps you lost count along the way.

I also had a HUGE amount of SATA questions. I just assumed that many of them were experimental questions that didn't really count towards my test score. the NCLEX does that. On the NCLEX-PN 25 of the questions do not count towards your test score. They are just trying them out to see if they are reasonable questions.

Took and passed NCLEX first time with 75 questions!!! ATI was my primary source, but I also did some Kaplen questions which I feel are harder than ATI. After taking the test, feel as though there was no real way to prepare
