hi guys i just got an offer which i accepted as an acute dialysis RN at davita. my training starts in 3 weeks. i got the email, it states that i have to do the drug test, background checks, etc. and the main thing that i am concerned about is that i have to take a standardized math test which i have to get 90% correct. can someone please give me an insight about this topic? like examples of these standardized math test questions?

Sorry, Im not much help. I started with Davita a few months back and did not have to do any math test..so Im not sure. I would just know how to calculate lbs to kg other than that Im not sure. Hope that helps a little.

They just want to be sure you can calculate drug dosages.

Hi @perfectnurse11. Can you please share with us how training days were set up?

For the skills/theory portion, was it 8hrs days? How many weeks of it did you get?

You also had an on-site training. How many hrs is that? 12?
