Diabetes and sleep apnea

This is a very interesting article about the link betwixt Type 2 Diabetes and OSA. I had no idea that the rate of comorbidity was so high.

Type 2 diabetes is associated with obesity. Obesity produces sleep apnea. In the obese patient, assume sleep apnea unless proven otherwise.

That being the case, I still had no idea that so many people with OSA also have diabetes. I found it interesting.
