Morning hyperglycemia

  1. Hi all,

I need help from you regarding diabetes. My husband was recently (This March) diagnosed with diabetes type I. Prior to his diagnose, he was a healthy man who loved going to the gym and riding his bikes. Also, he did not drink alcohol at all. Anyway, he is on Lantus daily and Humalog tid. His blood glucose was in the normal range until the past two week - It has been 130 - 230 in the mornings. This really frustrates him since he wants it to be 75 - 100 in the mornings. Any recommendation to correct this will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you all,

Sorry, but we can not give medical advice on this site per TOS. He needs to consult with his doctor or a diabetes educator. Best wishes.

Caliotter is correct. Please don't ask for medical advice on the internet - it just isn't safe or advisable.

The only one giving your dear husband medical advice is the one that knows him best: his primary care provider and/or diabetes educator or endocrinologist.
