I am interested in working in Dermatology when I'm done with my FNP this fall. I am not sure how to get into the field. Also I would like to do a derm specialty year or get a post master certificate in the Dermatology specialty but I only found one program available which is, Lahey Clinic. Does any one know of any other programs for Derm post masters?

I interviewed for a derm job when I graduated and they offered on the job training. Not sure you would want to specialize in such a narrow field since the certification exam you are required to pass is much broader.

I believe there is a fellowship program in Massachusetts. I've been researching job prospects and it's starting to look to me as though the scale has tipped in favor of derm PAs being hired over derm NPs almost everywhere except Washington state, Massachusetts & Kentucky.
Has anyone else noticed this same pattern? I

Derm is a lot of ojt right now.
Regis university had a PMC but that has been discontinued. There is a fellowship for Derm but so far very few organized educational oportunities. Now that there is a certification in Derm for NPs more organized educational oportunities may develop.
