Has anyone else applied for or been accepted to the Summer 2020 MENP cohort at DePaul? I got my acceptance a few weeks ago and wanted to see if there was anyone else considering it.

I just received my acceptance letter yesterday (yay!). I'm waiting to see what happens with UIC before I make a final decision. I'm paying the deposit to hold my place at DePaul for now. Kinda sucks but oh well
I did the same and I got into my top choice (elmhurst) and it kinda sucks to be out $300 :/

Hi!! I was accepted to DePaul and have already paid the deposit. I was recently accepted to Marquette as well (need to pay the deposit by Feb 5 to hold my spot). I’m coming from Cali and also applied to the University of San Francisco but won’t hear from them until March. But after some serious consideration, San Frans tuition is just seeming very very pricy (97k!!). So now I’m trying to pick which school between DePaul and Marquette will be best for me.
Yikes, that's expensive! $78,000 for DePaul seems pricey as well. At the end of the day, every school will have you sit for the NCLEX and I'm sure you'll get hired after graduation no matter what school you go to. Of course, you want to get the best education for your money. But as long as we're nurses we'll have jobs ?

Hi all! I received my acceptance for Depaul too, and I am from CA! Does anyone know of an estimate of the cumulative tuition? I havn't had a chance to be able to sit down and look through everything. Super excited!
Also how are you folks planning to finance this program? thanks

Yes, got accepted. I’m waiting on other schools that I applied to as well. I lived in Maryland and flying over February 8-10 And would love to visit the campus and meet with some staffs on the 10. Anyone from this cohort lived in Chicago and would love to meet us please let me know. I would love to know my potential classmates/friends. my name is joyful.

I have been trying to calculate as well but haven’t come up with anything. I would love to know the fees.

That’s the hardest question. My family and I are trying to save for my fees since I’m an international student and do not qualify for financial aide. I’m praying that things will go great.

Congrats! I’m not sure I think I saw on the website something about 78k so I’m assuming around that price!

Congratulations on your admission! I was also thinking about taking a trip from Cali to visit DePaul and Marquette in February to decided which one to choose. It’s a hard decision and I don’t want to make the wrong one! I’ve been to Chicago once when I was little but other than that I’m really no help as far as providing information!

Honesty student loans for the tuition. I also filled out my FASFA but I don’t think I’ll know about scholarships and such until they tell me? As far as the fees, materials, and books etc. I’m probably going to pay for that out of pocket.
Hey guys,
So, I went to an information session a while ago and they said the cost of tuition is $735/ credit hour for 107 credits. So $78,645 for tuition costs. This does not include health insurance costs which I believe is mandatory. DePaul has a page where they post scholarships depaul.academicworks.com. I didn't find any scholarships for nursing students so I emailed the financial aid office and they said to just keep checking the page frequently.
