Hello everyone,
I live in Colorado and just graduated with my BSN.
Can anyone tell me how to go about applying for jobs as a new graduate? I know the Denver job market is tough. I have applied to several of the new graduate programs and am waiting to hear back. It sounds like Children's Hospital is extending interviews already, not sure about UCH.
Has anyone had luck as a new graduate getting hired outside of a new graduate program?
Which, if any, hospitals/facilities hire new graduates? What about out-patient facilities, clinics, home health, assisted livings, and LTC?
Any information would be appreciated. It seems hard to even land an interview as a new graduate here.
Thanks in advance!

Home health and assisted living will hire new grads, you need to scour the job boards to find the positions, but they are out there! Make sure you get a good idea of training program at the place you are applying if you are not entering a residency program. Good luck!
Thank you so much, oceanblue52!
Which job boards do you recommend? So far I've looked at Indeed and LinkedIn, as well as this site.
My go to is Indeed, although I worked one place that mentioned that they only listed positions on Craigslist. Consider too working backwards searchwise and finding organizations, then look at their job postings. LinkedIn can be helpful once you have a little experience, lots of recruiters on there!
Great ideas, thanks oceanblue52! Hoping to find something soon :)

If you are shift flexible and willing to work outside a hospital in HH or LTC, I'm sure you can find a job if you are persistent.
