Finally got the CES report back from CGFN's and it looks good to go. Yea! Now, I know I have to apply to my states (florida) board to obtain the ATT but is there a time limit on me doing so. I know that once I have applied and have been approved I have 90 days to sit the NCLEX. The problem is I am not in a position to sit the NCLEX anytime soon for personal reasons (long story...pregnant,husbadn on deployment ,living with in-laws in Wisconsin till baby is born....you know, the usual!) and won't be returning to FL till at least the end of April 2008. So, basically I want to delay applying to the board till then. Can I do this? Seen as the BON have probably recieved my report do I need to consult with them?
Any advice would be fab!
Thanks!

The three months goes into effect when you have paid the fee to Pearson-Vue, and not until then. Your choice as to when you wish to forward your application to Florida.
No problem with delaying your application to them, it will not hurt you in any way.
Best of luck to you and what you are having to deal with right now. The exam will be there when you are ready for it. Be aware that you do not need to write the exam in Florida, you can take it wherever you wish, even where you are staying now. You do not need to be in Florida to write that exam. It may be a good time for you to get it out of the way before they baby is due.
What ever you decide to do, we will help you get thru that exam.
Thanks for your advice and support! Its appreciated.
If I was to sit the exam elsewhere, do I have to apply to the local BON? I thought it was the BON that gave you the ATT to sit the exam? Or do you mean apply to the Florida BON and sit the exam elsewhere?
If you were overseas, you do not fly to the US to take the exam. The location where you sit for it makes no difference, it is actually a national exam, and you can easily apply to Florida now, and then write the exam where you are staying.
You definitely do not need to be in Florida to write the exam; you could write it while on a Hawaiian vacation, or even in Europe, but for a higher cost.
You will still be writing the exam for Florida and get your license thru them, but you can get everything done over the next few months while you have the time to prepare for it.
