I interviewed for a position at DeKalb, and wondered if anyone is familiar and could share their experiences? I've checked out GlassDoor etc. and searched the archives but it seems mostly to be about the residency programs (I'm not a new grad; have a year of med/surg/tele experience).

I was wondering how it all turned out! Did you accept a position at DeKalb? I am moving to Atlanta in the next year or so and am having a hard time finding what I should expect in terms of pay and benefits etc. I will have about 2 years experience when we move.

Hey!

I worked at what was previously known as Dekalb Medical Hillandale, now under Emory University Hospitals, for two years before moving to work as a nurse in the UK. I worked there from 2016-2018.

I can't really speak too much for the Dekalb main hospital (located in Decatur) since I worked at the Hillandale location, but let me know if you have any specific questions and I'll be happy to answer them.
