Declaratory Order questions

  1. I am almost done with my prerequisites and it's time for me to get my fingerprinting/background check done with Texas BON. I have a criminal history and need some tips on what to say in my letter of explanation. How detailed should the explanation of each incident be?
  2. Also, do I list every single time I've ever been written a ticket? What exactly do I include...for example, I was arrested 7 years ago, but the case was thrown out and didn't result in charges...so do I still explain what happened?
  3. If a charge was deferred does it count against me?
  4. Do I need to provide certified copies of every document pertaining to the case, or just the sentence order that shows the charge, date of occurrence, judgement, and completion of terms?
