I was recently advised that sometimes it is better to become a Nurse Practitioner rather than a Physicians Assistant? I have wanted to become a Pediatric PA for a long time now and that is where my goal has been set. My wife feels that my heart would be too attached to the children and I would have a hard time dealing with some of the things I would or may come across in pediatrics. Recently I was told that I should look into becoming a NP rather than a PA all together. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I am a FMF Hospital Corpseman now and will be leaving the military soon to come back home and enter the "real world". I want to go into something that will make me happy and be beneficial to my family.
Opinions? or Thoughts?
