The link wouldn't work for me. Yes, they seem to want students to wear white polo shirts and navy pants. I have not seen them yet but if you want I will try to find the link for the source they gave. I am going to wear what the hospital (where I do clinicals) wants me to wear.

Having just returned from validation, I will tell you that it is not necessary to wear a polo shirt. I didn't; nor did some of the others.

I haven't ordered any special scrubs. Apparently, this is something new for DCN, another last minute request.

I also just returned from my clinical validation and I also did not have white polo shirts. I was also told I had to have a long, doctor style lab coat which was not true.

For the hospital here, they told me I could wear any type of scrubs.

For clinicals, ask your contact person at the facility. For validation, ask your instuctor.

How are you liking Deaconess? I start in the Fall, I am wondering about the class chat times and things like that. Can you give me a heads up? How do your classes come out time wise? Also where did you get your text books? Did anyone buy them on ebay?

I know there was a rumor about a specific uniform requirement for Deaconess students. Well I received an email from Soyung Han, DCN Clinical Liason, that all DCN students, on campus and web-based are required to where the school uniform. She said to contact Ackley Uniforms for details on what the uniform will be.

I called Ackley Uniforms and they gave me the following information on the Deaconess uniform:

Landau White Polo with Embroidery 620 $25.50

Landau White Top with Embroidery 8265 $26.00

Meta Lab Coat with Embroidery 1328 $29.25

Navy Pants $16.99
