Dayton salaries

Posted

I'm an RN with 10 years experience and have been interviewing at LTC facilities recently. Previous jobs have mostly been in the hospital. I've had 2 offers for an RN Supervisor, FT/day shift, and both places report the starting salary (based on my years of experience) is in the mid $21.00/hr range. To me that seems ridiculously low, even for a new grad RN. Am I crazy or is that the norm?

At a Job Fair for new RN graduates, I was quoted about 22.85 for Miami Valley Hospital and a little less but still at least 22/hr at Good Sam.

Considering that you have 10 yrs of experience, the wage that you quoted does seem extremely low...
