Hi Everyone,
I took the exam yesterday, shut off at 75, came home and cried my eyes out!
I didn't feel like I had enough time to "prove" myself. I know that I answered 75 questions, but the 10 or so questions that I had to make "educated guesses" on are the ones that stick in my mind. I can't even remember what the other 65 questions were about.
I had about 6-7 alternative format questions, which I'm sure I got wrong, 'cause I've never done well on them.
I don't feel like I got to be tested on ANY subject that I am strong in, such as neuro or cardiac.
Somehow, I have to keep myself busy today, to try to distract myself. At least I don't feel sick to my stomach today!
Good luck to everyone else who took it yesterday, or is taking it this week!!

Party of five,
I felt the same way as you did after taking the nclex 6/29. The machine shut off at 75 questions. I left the testing site feeling like I guessed at the whole test. I had at least 7-8 select all. Lots of priority and delegation and who would you see first type questions. Left a wreck, anxiety for 48 hours until my pass was posted. Keep faith I am sure you did well. I know this will not help but try to keep busy and think positive. The waiting is the hardest part. I know been there!

People who had already passed the test will agree with me their anxiety level was very high after the test even if you know some questions were answered right. It is normal to feel that way but don't let it turn you off from performing your normal duties. Remain calm, relax and eat your favorite food whilst awaiting results.
I wish you Good Luck.

LOL....I had an image of myself sitting in my favorite recliner consuming nothing but Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream for 48 hours! :monkeydance:
I can see it now...."yeah, I passed the exam but now I'll need to buy new clothes because I gained 12 pounds in two days...." LOL....
Anyway, to Party of Five: hang in there, odds are WITH you, I bet you'll be here singing happily soon :)
Thank you everyone, I will post tomorrow with the results.
I pray it's good news!

Yes, people have failed with 75 questions, but MOST people who get only 75 do pass :) So the odds are definitely in your favor. Hang in there!!

I'm right there with ya. 75 questions this a.m. and don't feel good about it at all. It seems as if I know soooo much more than what was asked. Maybe it's an after effect. To think the last three years all hinge on this exam, 75 questions. And I just don't know how I did. I will be so discouraged with myself if it ends up badly. But I will chug on if need be. Good luck to you guys. Keep me posted!
Wanted to let you all know that my results are in and I passed.:balloons: :mortarboard: I t has been a long road. today I signed my name with an RN next to it. Good luck to you all....
