The Davis Drug Guide is updated yearly I believe, because there is always new drugs coming out. I have a 2003, and I love it. It is very easy to use.

Jerry,
DO NOT activate the online part of Tabor's Cyclopedia/Dictionary. I bought mine two yrs. ago and activated it then [it is the 19th edition too]. Now I can't use that part of the book, unless I buy a subscription.
Davis's Drug guide is AWESOME. The CD that came with my book has 300 of the most common drugs listed and it has options for printing the entire drug or just the parts you want.
I am north of you in cold Southern Indiana....Temp here right now is 28 but feels like 20.
Hope this helps and good luck on your journey to becoming a nurse!!!

I try to get a new drug book at least every other year. There are always new drugs, interactions, side effects, uses that are being implemented so it is really a good idea to keep the book as current as you can.

Trauma Queen, do you have the regular drug guide on your memory card or the Palm itself? I tried to download it to my memory card as it has so much more space and it told me I had a fatal error and had to reset. I haven't yet tried to download it again to the Palm itself.
