Thanks! I wanted to do Tina's in PA but her next one is scheduled for that same weekend :-( I'm probably gonna do Excelsior's or Sheri Taylor's online. Sheri had a Care Plan Webinar on Tuesday night based on the new 18th Ed CPNE guide that I attended and learned so much in that 4 hours so I'm leaning more towards hers.

Congrats on the new date! How did you get it, did they call you or you them? Did you stay within the NPAC? I am testing on 11/4 and I wanted a cancellation for Oct, but so far nothing for MPAC.

I have not done Sheri's, but I am doing Tina's online care plan workshop, and it is outstanding (much more than care plans, she reviews your narratives, and you get daily assignments). She is tough, but I have learned a lot in the last month. Having to do the 18th edition really kicked up the critical thinking a notch with no @ risk diagnostic labels, no "assessment" type interventions.

Good luck with your studies!!

Thanks! A lot went on with me and the whole CPNE application! First I couldn't upload my docs to complete the app, then I got the paper app and sent everything in. This whole thing took me about 2 weeks! Then they tell me my cpr is no good, then I had to hurry up and find a class that would give me a card the same day and got the right one AHA bls for hcp's! Then I was able to upload that and within 10 minutes i got a date for 12/16 but I made myself available as of 10/15, so that's when I called and begged for a cancellation. I stayed in NPAC, I actually only wanted Queens or Syracuse, but then I realised Syracuse would also be a 5 hour drive from where I live and I'm already anxious about the exam, didn't wanna deal with such a long ride. I was told there might be a cancellation and they would call me. The next day I got a call and got this date, so It was a journey! I was told it's easier to get a NPAC date and cancellation than it is for the others. Good luck and happy studies my luv! I can't wait to read ur journal! I remember when I was obsessing over Chronicity for like 4 months and was scared to death to do the test, u were one of the people that always kept me motivated! Thank you!

Aw, what a nice thing to say!! :) The motivation I found on this site was so instrumental in getting me through this program, and I think we definately get that positive energy from eachother! Have you been posting on EPN? I am on there constantly, just threw up a careplan today. Stay in touch while we finish this thing :yeah:

@Loops, I just recently discovered the EPN and I haven't posted yet just looking around and still figuring out how to use it. @ Determine, she mentioned she only does the free webinar twice a year, I only knew about it because she has a fan page on facebook that I discovered, if ur on fb type in www.cpneworkshop.com in the search box and like the page to see her updates

Ok got it, but since it's already October I guess that probably was her 2nd free webinar for the year.

Did you get my message? Hope ur seriously considering a workshop....it does help a lot!

How is the lab setup coming along?

@Oneflynurz I sent you an email to your regular email address :)

I went to Tina's in Pa last month, and plan to return this month for two days. Give her a call, she will tell you if she could help. If you think you can memorize all her mneumonics by than she is WELL WORTH IT. So helpful, accessible and nice. her number is on her website. necworshop.
