Dansko Question?

I'm shopping for a shoe for nursing school, and because of all of the raves about Danskos I decided to try some on.

Instantly I could feel the comfort, and it was amazing!

I have super narrow feet so at first they were super wide, but I put in a thin insole which took care of that problem in about 2 seconds. And I know the ones I want are available in narrow so it wouldn't be a problem.

The thing I'm worried about is walking out of them, and I know they are clogs so that is part of it. But I'm worried that as I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off at clinicals that I will completely walk out of them. Is this something that I will get use? Have you ever slipped out of your dansko's before? Can you run in them when you have to?

Thanks :)

I have worn Dansko's for probably 3 years now, both at work and outside of work. I have never walked out of my shoes... if you do, they are probably too big. I can kick them off when sitting, but it takes some trying to do. Did you have them fitted? You should only be able to get a finger in the back of the shoes. And yes, I can run in them if needed... The only fear I have when I have to run is that everything is going to pop out of my pockets!

Ok thanks. I will keep that in mind when I go try them on again. Apparently the guy I had the first time didn't know what he was talking about.
