Current RN assessment period of CNO?

hello everyone im a newbie here, hope to get some insights from members of this forum regarding current timeline of CNO in assessing RN applications.I recently forwarded my application form and received an acknowledgement letter dated July 12, this year. I asked this because i read from other forums that mostly of the applicants wait 1 to 2 years to get their eligibility to sit for CRNE. Im just wondering if this is the case on all applicants now? or is it still depends on the compliance? Because if assessment period are now taking long to finish, I am planning to have a RPN assessment too just to have a back up plan if anything arises. Thank you very much in advance :)

Due to the high demand for the province the college will priotise local applicants before International applicants so yes probably taking a bit more than 12 months to go through the process. Also seeing many then referred for assessment before decision made to allow to sit CRNE or not
