CSU East Bay Nursing Application Problems

Published

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around the boards for a while now and just decided to join today :)

So...

I saved my application to the Fall 2010 Nursing Program at CSU East Bay, and when I saw the option to review my application for final submission, I clicked it and saw that all my A's and B were lowered to A-'s and a B-. After fixing this problem, I clicked the box to finalize my application, but thankfully I had made the error of not checking the Direct Patient work experience box (I don't have any experience with it, so I carelessly left it blank, heh). I made sure to review my application thoroughly, and saw that my grades were once again lowered to A-'s and a B-!

My friend also had this problem and I'm wondering if anyone else did, too. I'm really worried about it.

I just to submit my application as soon as possible, but ugh... I'm just really scared now. It would've significantly lowered my GPA!!!

I suggest that you call the nursing department. I believe that they are experiencing technical difficulties as well. Their number is (510) 885-3481. The staff members are very nice, and I'm sure that they'll be happy to help you :)

I didn't have any problems like that.

I'm waiting for them to send me the ID number via email because I'm not a current student at CSUEB. I'm assuming they'll tell us when to send in transcripts and supplemental criteria proof and all.

I took an integrated chemistry course (I checked it on assist.com so it is applicable) but I didn't know where to put it because they only have sections for separated courses. I just put the same course in both sections hoping they will understand it when they see it was the exact same course taken during the same semester with the same grade and number of units.
