I'm writing my CRNE in Oct 08 and wanted to know where I can find RELIABLE prep courses available in Toronto. If anyone could give me information, that would be great. Information such as success rate and stories from experience (or stories from others) from taking those courses is welcomed. Links or contact information would be great as well. Thank you.

i know a ton of people that have taken a crne prep course through nurses education inc (but they changed their name recently so you would have to look it up on google) the cost is like 650$ but you can buy the same prep book for only 120$ but it doesnt include the classes, but at least you can just use the book yourself
i saw this prep class called PASS RN and apparently its taught by a george brown nursing prof and some women who was a writer for the Mosby CRNE prep guide that one looked good and its only like 200$ or something im thinking of taking that one
both are in toronto and those are the only ones i know of

after you review your CRNE prep guide, CNA has a practice test that you can take online (about $65) when you complete it, it gives you a score as well as scores for each section so you know what you need to focus on. I think it also gives you the passing scores for the last few years. I know this isnt a course, but I think it might be helpful to focus studying.

Many of the people who will be browsing this forum have or will be writing the CRNE right after they graduate from a Canadian university nursing program, where all their exams will have been CRNE formatted, and they will not have taken any sort of review course. You might wish to look at the International forum threads to see if there's anything there that can give you more help.
