CRNA School Admissions

Specializes in ICU.

Hi all,

I am a BSN nursing student graduating in May. I know I have a very long way to go and I am excited to learn as much as I can after I graduate. I am wanting to go to CRNA school and was wondering how important it is to work in a Level I trauma Hospital? I have been offered a position at a Level II ICU with 26 beds. It is a general ICU which takes all patients, surgical, medical, etc. Is this sufficient enough to be accepted? I have a 3.58 nursing GPA and 3.63 overall BSN GPA. I will be signing up to take Chem I in the fall and plan on taking Chem II, Orgo I, CCRN and GRE in the next few years. Any CRNA's or SRNA's willing to give me any advice or input? I would greatly appreciate it! :)
