Question for everyone. Prior to graduating from nursing school, I got a bachelors degree in engineering. GPA was 3.0 then went to graduate school in business for one semester and did horrible. Quit business school. Worked for a couple years, matured, figured out what I wanted in life, then went back and did well in nursing school ~3.5 gpa.
How unfavorably will CRNA admissions look at my previous blunders prior to nursing? I'm hoping to really count on my personal statement to stress the fact that I have experience in other areas as a positive and the fact that once I figured out that nursing/CRNA was what I really wanted, I have done pretty well....got my CCRN as soon as I got my min clinical hours in, taken additional coursework, ect. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Make sure your core science grades are strong, and get at least 2-3 years of really strong ICU experience. Nurse anesthesia programs accept a variety of people, and your background is not unheard of. You should be fine.
