I am a new graduate nurse relocating from Jacksonville upon graduating from UNF this summer. I've done my preceptorship in the ICU and am very interested in getting back into the ICU. All of the residency programs are making it really difficult for me to find a position, though. I do have an interview at Jupiter Medical Center and I'm told that this is a nice place to work. So I guess I have two questions.
1. Can anyone suggest a hospital in that area that would take a new graduate nurse right into the ICU? If so, would you recommend working there?
2. What makes Jupiter Medical Center so great? What are the ratios like? What is the atmosphere like?
Thank you so much in advance for any advice.

Hi! Just wondering if you ended up getting the job at Jupiter Medical Center, and if so, how are you liking it?

Yes! Its a great place to work no matter what floor you are on. Management is very open and they work hard to maintain a positive atmosphere. I am enjoying it!
