CMC study help

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to know if any of you had any good study tips or guides for passing the CMC? From what I've read so far, if you have a strong history of cardiac ICU nursing, not much studying is needed...but that doesn't seem right to me! As a subspecialty of the CCRN, saying not much studying for the CMC is an oxymoron!!!

Any help/advise would be great!!!

Thanks!

I used a set of DVD's which was instucted by Cammy Fancher. It was okay but it also included stuff for the CSC exam. I though it was a decent review. At the time I was studying AACN didn't not have much in the way of study resources. That has changed and I would recommend that you use their resources to prepare for the exam. I personally though it was far more difficult than the CCRN and the CEN exams. Good luck!
