It makes no difference the degree training, it is 100% dependent if your program offers it.
The CPT is based on your new program, and has nothing to do with what you did for the ADN program that you were in before.
If the school does not offer it, then you will not be able to use it. It is 100% dependent on the actual school.
thanks suzanne for your reply,
i will definitely have to ask my nsng counsellor
To Reg Nur 2008,
I am new to this site, I got your message but did not know how to reply directly to you. May be somebody can help me here..
BTW, to anser your question, yes, it was hard to get a job on OPT. All the hospitals wants you to fill application online. ANd part of the application says, Do you need help with sponsorship. You want to be true to yourself, so you check "yes" and realize that they never call. It is just not the case with me but a couple of my friends with BSN degree and high GPA's experienced similar situation. SO, what would you do, you job hunt in states that are more on a scarcity for nurses.
It really is a torture if your are a intl student in this country.:banghead:

Hi there,
yeah, give LTC a try, or even smth like a TCU, you should be able to gain experience and since citizenship is not a problem for you b/c you should be able to get your residency once your spouse becomes a citizen. good luck
