CPNE Date 7/27 at Northside Hospital

Well I broke down out of desperation for a date and took Northside Hospital. There was nothing else available and in reality, Northside is better for me and much cheaper in the long run. The hospital is 5 min from sheri's workshop location so I can stay at the same hotel I am staying at in a few weeks for the workshop. Not have to worry about being in an unfamiliar situation....I'm going to scope this place out in 2 weeks on one of my nights off after the workshop.

SO its official, I have my date. Let the crying begin. I am so unsure of this site however. Its so new, there is not much on it at all. If anyone here has been here let me know your thoughts. I know I am guaranteed a Peds patient, so I need to brush up on that part. But I have plently of time plus great supporters.

I hope you called back and were able to save some more$$. My paperwork did say the Excelsior College rate, and your welcome!

Glad you finally got a freaking date! Are you on the facebook CPNE page yet?? Get on that girl--it's a great page! I asked for the EC rate at Albany med too and it's the same as the normal rate the weekend I am going so no discount.Going to cost me about 380 for 3 nights. Not so bad. I put myself on a cancellation list too for Albany ONLY though, just incase I can get an earlier date. I doubt I will, but who knows.GODD LUCK with the studies!! Sherri helps a lot--I have been doing the online workshop and it's great.:D

Nervous1~ I am attending Sheri's workshop this coming weekend as well. I am so excited to learn what she has to offer. The recommended hotel was already full, so I am staying like 2 and 1/2 miles from the workshop location in a Hyatt. Will see you there! Traci

Full! That sucks! I am looking forward to a great workshop. Maybe give them a ring today or tomorrow and see if anyone has cancelled a room, that way you can stay with the rest of us.

I got an email back from SPAC about the rate code, its actually the Georgia Nurses Association rate for the hotel near Northside Hospital. I have not called back to check the rate yet, but my first one was pretty good since I am going to be there 5 nights. But every little bit helps.

I got a rental car for the workshop this weekend, I want to drive to the Hospital so I can figure out how to navigate Atlanta traffic. This will be my first time traveling alone, and the first time I've driven in a BIG city so I hope I don't have a panic attack on the interstate. I've got Sheri's number on my cell in case I need a rescue. :)

i saw that you tested at Northside last year. i am scheduled to go soon and have not seen any information, from here or Facebook, about this location. Do you have any advice, tips or general info. I am starting to get a bit nervous myself
