hello there,, i just want ask,, i took a lot of training courses to make my resume more attractive,, e.g. med administration, assesment course, bls, iv therapy, wound care, and dementia care,,, the thing is on my resume i dont have canadian safe practice for the past two years,, do you think these trainings will make employers consider me for hiring if i dont have experience here in canada? my only work experience is working as a nurse from 2005-2010 in the philippines... thank you for your response :)

It will show you tried to remain up to date. I don't know the job market or requirement in Canada, but I can wish you luck in your job search.

It won't hurt but it won't take the place of experience.

Your bigger issue will be not working as a nurse in 4 years. Continuing education is not a replacement for paid clinical practice/experience especially in a competitive market
