Considering a move to SF (SFGH)

I have pretty much decided that I will move to SF after I have completed my BSN.

Mostly, I am interested in San Fran General Hospital. I looked over the union contracts and pay info and it seems to be quite competative.

But, do they stick to theassigned ratios well? Are new grads accepted into the critical care training program? Can I train on a night shift (I would hate to work day shifts)?

Any info about this hospital (or any other) would be great. I really want to work for a Health Dept. facility for the laon repayment benefits. If you know anything about the loan repayment programs, that info is welcome too.

UCSF, California Pacific, and VAMC also do tuition reimbursement. All have good and bad points. SF is a wonderful city and the pay is great. Welcome and good luck. PM me for specific questions.
