Goodwin College Summer 17'

Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone else will be trying to get into the Summer Nursing Program for 2017.

I was supposed to for this Fall but I wasn't selected and it was a very tough selection process since everyone scored belowed %70 on that exam.

They have changed test from being just strictly A&P I and A&P II to the TEAS 6 format for summer 2017.

I've been studying really hard and hopefully I get in. If you're trying to get in, I hope I see you around Goodwin!

Right now I'm trying to increase my points and GPA. I had a 3.5.

Im a bit of an odd case because of some setbacks on getting my BSN at other schools, I decided on the ASN.

Thank you PeaceLove889! Best of luck to you! I will be crossing my fingers for you! They accepted low scores last semester so I believe there is still hope! Do you know what your point total was going into the TEAS? I will be crossing fingers!!

I have 12 points that I've earned so far for Goodwin. Is that what you're talking you're talking about?

Hi PeaceLove889 . Yeah, I always get confused reading their grading system how they accept! I must've looked at their grading sheet 3 times already to figure out how many points. Definitely nervous!

Does anyone know what date we may see them? I was going to contact the nursing department, but didn't want to bother them if it's sometime soon

I contacted them as I may have had something interfere with classes. All Chelsea said was that we would know before Fall registration. Which opens the 19th. So I'm assuming we'll get our letters this week.

Yeah, I was hoping soon because I am on the edge line with points and wasn't sure with classes. Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday we will know, waiting is the killer!

Just opened my mail. Admitting was 17 points. I had 16 :(

I got mine today. I didn't make it. I was 13 out 17. I'll just have to try again but I'm really not happy with it but that's that. Oh well. :(
