Hello All,
Due to the economy; here's a newsflash--I can't find a job. I have a BSN and an RN card in my Hello Kitty wallet (when I grow up, I want a knock-off Coach) I am a new grad and I can't get a job b/c I have no experience; I have no experience b/c I can't find a job- the vicious cycle continues on and on. While I was decorating my card board box, I mean, apartment (thank GOD for it!), I was considering a job in Medical/Pharm Sales; I have sales experience and I like the challenge, however, this is not why I wanted to become a nurse in the first place. I mean, all jokes aside, I want the experience of patient care and also considered working in a SNF or a care center. I was told by more experienced nurses that RN's get "stuck as Charge Nurses pushing papers." :eek:WOW!! I don't want to lose the skills that I learned in Nursing School, but I don't want to work at Mc Donald's while I wait for the economy to get better (however, I have done that, too). If anyone could give me some advise on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
