Just wanted to start a Concordia Fall 2011 Thread..

If there are current accepted students out there who wouldn't mind sharing their stats, when they applied, it would be appreciated.

Hi Nursing 76. Thanks for the thread. I applied for Fall of 2011 too, just finished turning in all the required material and am waiting for an answer from them. Do you know when they will be calling us for interview?

Hello,

Did either of you apply for the summer cohort? I have micro and anatomy currently in progress so I think that hurt my chances. I just got my letter last Friday asking me to reapply for the fall. I emailed the counselor asking what I need to resubmit because they already have most of my stuff on file. Are you applying anywhere else? Are you done with all of your pre-reqs? July will be here before you know it!

No I didn't apply to the Summer cohort.. I have just two more prereqs, but they are not major science courses.

Does anyone know what version of the TEAS Concordia uses? I want to get a study guide and I know there are currently 2 versions out. I want to say I remember them saying that they use the latest version which would be version V. Just curious if anyone knew?

Hi Sandy,

No I did not apply for summer cohort either. This is my first time applying for the school. I too have all my prereqs done, except for one which I am taking in the summer. Its the Nutrition class which I will be done with before July.

I havnt apply to any other schools yet, Concordia is my first choice, I will wait to see if I get interview this july, if not I will consider other schools. Cant wait for the interview now!!

Hey all,

I applied and got in for Fall 2011. I still have some simple pre-reqs to do in the summer. I am between choices, waiting for all of them to decide, but concordia is my second choice so I am excited either way.

I had the interview about a month ago, and they were super nice! It sounds legit even though they have yet to have a graduating class. How is everyone else doing in their process?

What school is your first choice if you dont mind me asking? Did you get accepted there too?

I am still waiting for an interview. They told me they will call interviews for fall in the first week of July , I wonder how they called you before the application deadline, did you apply super early?

Yeah, I applied as soon as I could because I think its a first come, first serve kind of deal right now. I also applied to UTMB, I have an interview there on monday (super nervous!) and also to Corpus Christi A&M. I also applied to TWU but I did not make it in :/

The interview at concordia was really laid back. They called me in for an "informal interview" and she told me all about the program, and reviewed my file again. She was super nice and the campus is nice too. I am just a bit hesitant because of the accrediting, but it still looks like it was really well thought out.
