I am looking for advice on how to distinguish between signs/symptoms and potential complications. The DP is Urosepsis and many of my signs also seem suitable to use as complications.

Indeed, while studying for my most recent RN exam, I didn't bother to learn about whether a certain thing was a s/e or a complication and I was still able to pass. I just tried to make sure I understood all the S/sx and complications of each disorder. I think that s/sx are expected characteristics a person would have if they had the diagnosis/dx/disorder/D/O.While complications are the adverse things, i.e. Really bad that you expect not to occur with early treatment.
